Welcome to the Elite Summer Gymnastics Camp at Park Wrekin Gymnastics Club. We're committed to a safe, inspiring, and professional environment. All participants, parents and guardians, and staff must adhere to the following policies.

Refund policy

  • If the camp is cancelled by the organisers for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of approval.

Safety & membership

Important
  • All Park Wrekin coaches are qualified, DBS checked, and adhere to British Gymnastics' safeguarding standards.
  • Gymnasts attending must hold current BG membership.
  • Coaches attending must hold current BG membership and be up to date with all required safeguarding checks, including DBS & Safeguarding. Proof will be required prior to the start of the camp.
  • First aid trained staff will be present on-site at all times.
  • All gymnasts must disclose any medical conditions or injuries upon registration.
  • Emergency contact details must be provided and kept up to date.
  • Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by staff. Unsafe or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the camp without a refund.
  • The club reserves the right to remove any participant who poses a risk to themselves or others.

Photography & media

  • Photography and videography may take place during the camp for promotional purposes (social media, website, future marketing materials).
  • By enrolling, participants (or their parents/guardians) consent to the use of images and footage unless written objection is submitted prior to the camp, via the questionnaire.
  • Any personal photography or filming by parents, gymnasts, or coaches is strictly prohibited unless authorised by camp organisers.
  • No content should be shared online without prior approval from the club.

Code of conduct

  • Respectful behaviour is expected from all gymnasts, parents, and coaches.
  • Bullying, discrimination, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Mobile phone use is discouraged during sessions unless permission is granted for emergencies.

Drop-off & collection

  • Participants must be signed in each day by reception and returned to parents via a camp coach at the end of the day.
  • Late collection (beyond 15 minutes of the stated pick-up time) may incur an additional fee unless prior arrangements are made.

Food & allergies

  • Lunch is provided for gymnasts only. Coaches will need to bring their own lunch. A vending machine is available on site.
  • All allergies and dietary requirements must be disclosed during registration.
  • Camp is a nut-free environment.

Medical care & injury

  • Minor injuries will be treated on-site by trained first aiders.
  • In the event of a serious injury, emergency services will be contacted and parents/guardians notified immediately.
  • Any injuries sustained during the camp must be reported to the camp organisers on the same day.
